Indira Swann & BISEE Books

Hello all,

Just wanted to update you on something that is very close to my heart and is coming up very soon

Dazzle 1411 have donated a Gift Voucher worth £25 which is to be a winning prize in a raffle held at an amazing event that will be taking place in July.

The 19th of July this year will mark a very special day. It marks the 21st birthday of my lovely friend Indira Swann. Indira was one of 5 young women who died in April 2008 when the coach she was travelling on in Ecuador, whilst on a gap year trip, collided with a lorry.

To celebrate Indira's life and her special birthday Louise, Greg and Elizabeth Swann are holding a charity concert at Norden Farm Arts Centre, Maidenhead on 25th July 2010. All money raised from the event will go to BISEE Books.

Bisee Books is a charity which aims to provide books for disadvantaged schoolchildren in the memory of Sarah Howard 26, Indira Swann, 18, Emily Sadler, 19, Elizabeth Pincock, 19, and Rebecca Logie, 19.
The name takes the first letter of each girl’s first name – Becci, Indira, Sarah, Emily and Elizabeth.

Five schools are already set to benefit from the organisation by having their own library created in the girls’ names. To find out a bit more about this amazing charity and the work that they do you can visit their website at http://www.biseebooks.org.uk/
